This is Eleman by a professor at Sierra Nevada College (I hope I titled it correctly and apologize for not knowing the creator of such a piece) .... Fascinating! The surface related to an elephant so well, but at the same time perplexed me. I could not tell if I was looking at a glaze or a sliped clay body. And check out the view from the rear:This piece was the one that stood out to me the most : not to say that there weren't an overwhelming number of amazing ceramic sculptures to be seen! CCACA is always an amazing weekend of art.

I feel that the Humboldt State Show was once again a strong show. We had quite a few sales and the word on the street was strong. So I took too many pictures this weekend to show them all on here!
